Workshop (3 hours)
Objective
Learn about basic bond features, types of bonds such as Singapore Government Securities, Singapore Savings Bonds, Corporate Bonds and Bond Funds. Understand credit ratings, determinants of bond price volatility, the relationship between bond prices, interest rates and yields as well as how to read related documents and key considerations before investing.

Anyone who wants to learn about bonds as an asset class and get a deeper insight into drivers of bond prices. As this is a moderately technical topic, it is highly recommended that participants have attended basic modules such as “Considerations when Investing” or “Major Financial Products “ prior to this workshop.
