“I would particularly like to highlight that the onsite sessions are more suitable and an effective delivery method for workshops like these. It encourages participants to ask questions and makes the learning experience better. I noticed our parents having many personal queries that they did not hold back, and facilitator handled them well. Parents found the information practical, examples cited relatable and useful.

SINDA also gave participants a take-home kit that had budget, meal planners, board games such as Monopoly to encourage applying what they learnt in their day to day lives. Facilitator went out of his way to share more about how to use these items and even involve children in the learning process.

I would also like to highlight to avoid using ‘low-income’ when conversing with our parents. Perhaps can use ‘financial constraints or challenges instead depending on the context.

Thank you once again for the opportunity! We would be delighted to connect for more of such engagements with families next year. Do share with us a programme menu for 2026 that I could take back to my team.”
